What is Payroll Lite?
Payroll Lite is designed for vessels that manage crew leave outside of Voly.
Unlike Payroll Pro, Payroll Lite:
Does not automatically track leave
Requires manual entry of leave data within payroll
Setting Up Payroll Lite
To ensure accurate payroll calculations:
Set all crew contract leave accrual rates to zero
Does not rely on Workrest to calculate or track leave balances

Simplified Payroll View
The payroll summary table in Lite removes leave-specific columns:

Deductible Leave Taken
Non-Deductible Leave Taken
Manual Leave Adjustments
Leave must be entered manually using the Adjustments column:
Add a date, number of days, and a comment (required)
Use adjustments to reflect:
Leave taken
Leave accrued externally
Note: For crew with multiple contracts, adjustments must be added at the individual contract level
Unpaid Days Entry
You can enter unpaid days directly:
Click the Unpaid Days column
Input values in the modal
View how changes affect gross salary in real time
